On Tap Magazine SXSW Texas Road Trip Competition 2006
Hello, and Happy New Year, I'll be competing in the Texas Road Trip competition again at Silver Spring Austin Grill, sponsored by On Tap Magazine. The competition, held Tuesdays, 1/17 through 2/7, will send one singer/songwriter to the SXSW Music Festival and Conference in March. I'll be performing Tuesday JAN 24th, solo acoustic, along with Rob Getzschman, Leah Morgan, Luke Brindley, J.P. McDermott, Jon Braman and Melanie Mason. The finals are on Sunday February 19th with the winner receiving a trip for two to the festival that includes airfare, hotel and an event pass. Audience reaction is a key criteria, and the order of play will only be determined the night of each performance... come on out, and plan to arrive early!
