Nickel

It works for Del Amitri, The Jayhawks, and Gin Blossoms, now it works for Nickel. "It" is an earthy, guitar based sound, with nice subtle harmonies that would work equally as well in a large concert hall, or on the back porch with a couple of six packs. Mike Shupp, ex-Big Bang Theory guitarist, has pieced together a solid band with Mike Marzullo and Steve Kaye and based on the crisp sound on this tape makes me believe they won't be doing the self distribution for long.
