I’m listening to the gloriously effed up-sounding “Dizzy Heights” from Neil Finn, due out next Tuesday, but streaming now (’til Monday) on Pandora’s new Premieres channel. There are also preview clips at iTunes and Barnes & Noble. Looking forward to the D.C. show at Lincoln Theatre April 12th.
“Dizzy Heights is the third proper solo album from Crowded House frontman Neil Finn and follows 2001’s One Nil. Opting for a fuller sound than your average singer/songwriter fodder, Finn brought in co-producer Dave Fridmann (Flaming Lips, MGMT) to give the album another dimension. Recorded in New Zealand as well as Fridmann’s Tarbox Studios in Upstate New York, the album sees Finn deliver another collection of classic pop rock songs.
