My album “This Time” is available on Sound Market, the new secondary NFT market launched by Sound.xyz, as the “new home for Music NFTs.” Sound Market aggregates listings across multiple marketplaces and aims to become “the default way to collect Music NFTs.”
Mike Shupp retail CDs (and future merchandise) are now available for purchase through Spotify. Merch will display in the Spotify apps and web players toward the bottom of the main artist page, as well as on each album title page, respectively.
Displayed merch items link to full product detail pages where the final shopping cart and checkout process takes place. Stay tuned for coming additions to the new store…!
The tracks from my album “This Time” are now collectable as NFTs (non-fungible tokens), available for purchase or auction on the Ethereum blockchain.
Each NFT is a “1 of 1” edition, and comes with unlockable content, including downloadable audio files of the song, in formats WAV 44.1 kHz 16-bit (Original Master Quality), ALAC (Apple Lossless), FLAC (Lossless) and MP3 320 (High Quality). The NFTs were minted using the ERC-721 token standard on my Ethereum smart contract
$MTS. The title track, “This Time” (track 1) is my genesis music NFT on the Ethereum blockchain — Token ID: #1.
Here’s the Twitter post for the commemorative NFT:
And here’s the Mirror post, itself a collectable “Writing NFT”:
A new NFT widget-based embed tool from Universe called NFT Embed combines NFT card display with wallet connect and marketplace functionality, and includes the ability to list and sell NFTs that you own from your own webpage.
The single NFT display card can be customized by width and height or responsive width, and can also display as a vertical card. You can even display an entire collection as a marketplace, with sorting, filtering and searching capabilities.
