Love Comes Down (Demo, 2001)

Love Comes Down (Demo, 2001)

Here’s the original demo of “Love Comes Down” (track 10 on the album This Time), recorded on a Roland VS-880EX Digital Studio Workstation, and burned to a CD-R at the time… I captured into Pro Tools® at 32-bit-float to master here and adjust for level. Vocals, electric guitars, bass, piano and Boss DR-550mkII drum machine. Some very nice harmonies here, which don’t appear on the album release version…

Note on Correct Release Dates

Mike Shupp Store

A quick PSA—the release dates shown for my albums on streaming platforms (Apple Music, Spotify, etc.) are incorrect. The correct dates are shown here below, and also at Mike Shupp Store, my Bandcamp site, Discogs, Sound Credit, and DISCO — all of which I manage directly.

Some streaming services show only the year (“Jan. 1”), or worse, the previous year (“Dec. 31”), due to distributor system updates with data import errors. (To fix would require removing and re-releasing the albums—not currently planned, but perhaps eventually.)

Correct release dates:
