A quick PSA on the incorrect release dates which are displayed for my albums currently on all the streaming platforms (Apple Music, Spotify, etc.) — you can find the correct release dates listed here at Mike Shupp Store, at my Bandcamp site, at Discogs, Sound Credit and DISCO, all platforms I administer.
These dates are sometimes displayed incorrectly on the streaming services, or are displayed only by year (with “Jan. 1st”), or worse, by the prior year (“Dec. 31st”). This is due to catalog system updates at the distributor/digital aggregator which didn’t import the release dates precisely, and can only be remedied by removing them from distribution and re-releasing.
