The Washington Post’s Eric Brace mentions the inclusion of Mike Shupp on the “Bam Balam Explosion Vol. V” USA Power Pop Compilation CD in the Weekend section’s “Nightwatch” column this week. Brace called the song “A Little Fun”, which the Spanish label chose for the CD, “the most rocking tune of this strong selection of melodic pop, a collection absolutely worth searching out.”

The club is called Name That Bar, and is near the corner of 3rd & South St, right next to the Pontiac Grill, in the heart of the South Street district.
