Avid have announced Pro Tools Sketch, a new music creation component in Pro Tools® which will be available as part of the forthcoming 2023.9 update this September. It’s a non-linear, clip-based editor, and will be a new window in Pro Tools, as well as an iPad app. It appears to have similar functionality to something like GarageBand’s Live Loops.

All set up with iOS 5.1 for my iPad 2 and iPhone 4, as well as the iTunes 10.6 update… all working great so far. I like the ability to delete from Photo Stream from any device. Looking forward to checking out iPhoto and the new GarageBand and iMovie as well…
