All set up with iOS 5.1 for my iPad 2 and iPhone 4, as well as the iTunes 10.6 update… all working great so far. I like the ability to delete from Photo Stream from any device. Looking forward to checking out iPhoto and the new GarageBand and iMovie as well…
I installed the Google+ iPhone app moments ago… it was available as a download from the iTunes App Store on computer, but isn’t showing up yet as downloadable directly to the iPhone; still had to perform a sync to get it installed on the device…
What with the “Cloud” coming and all… I’m going to finally give this a try. “All data is encrypted locally on your PC… automatically synchronizes your data – access it from anywhere at anytime.” And so far, wow… extremely cool technology. And they’re local, too… fun!
LastPass – Password Manager, Form Filler, Password Management
“We’ve taken every step we can think of to ensure your security and privacy. Using an evolved host-proof hosted solution, LastPass employs localized, government-level encryption (256-bit AES implemented in C++ and JavaScript) and local one-way salted hashes to give you complete security with the go-anywhere convenience of syncing through the cloud. All encrypting and decrypting happens on your computer – no one at LastPass can ever access your sensitive data. LastPass’ Security Challenge also allows you to identify weak account data and provides suggestions for significantly improving your online security.”
“Mobile payments startup Square is announcing big numbers today…”
“Square offers an iPhone, Android and iPad app which allows merchants to process and manage credit card transactions with a handy little credit card swiping device that plugs into the headset/microphone jack. The device and service is the brainchild of Twitter co-founder and recently appointed product lead Jack Dorsey and Jim McKelvey.”

“The Hissing of Summer Lawns” on the radio? Thank you, WXPN – via TuneIn Radio app – via iPhone 4… with MapQuest for Mobile voice-guided navigation audio running simultaneously… sweet.
